On the other side of the ladder, Todd "Bones" Ewing was doing equal work. Bones who opted to drive his 5.70's dialed deadly little vega over his fast dragster after his crew chief Shawn Top Fuel Langdon convinced him of the wise decission. Bones disposed of Troy Williams Jr, Brandon Taylor, this years Million Dollar Bracket Race winner Kenny Underwood and AJ Ashe to advance to the final round match up with Branham.
As the final round excitement brewed and the purse was examined you could tell the two drivers were nothing but business.
